Luke Thomas joined Keith Borer Consultants in 2026 as a Digital Casework Consultant, specialising in the examination of mobile devices, including cases involving indecent images of children, social media platforms and other communications. Prior to this, he was employed as a Digital Forensic Examiner at Durham Constabulary with over 4 years experience in Digital Forensics. He completed an in-house Nationally Accredited Grader of Indecent Images of Children course with Durham Constabulary.
Mr Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science with First Class Honours in Computer and Digital Forensics from Teesside University. He has received training in the use of various digital forensic tools in relation to the extraction, analysis and presentation of mobile phone data, and given evidence in Crown Court.
