We are delighted to announce that we have been granted an extension to our scope of accreditation to ISO17025 for Forensic Imagery. This makes Keith Borer Consultants one of the only accredited organisations outside of Policing for this type of work. UKAS have also assessed us as compliant with the Forensic Science Regulator’s Code of Practice V2, which mandates compliance for the bulk of Forensic Imagery work (defined under forensic science activities DIG 300 and DIG301).
Karl Ebejer, Quality Manager:
“It is a hard-earned achievement to have been granted this accreditation and it means that we are now able to declare accreditation to ISO17025 AND to declare compliance with the Code of Practice Version 2. For KBC, this is another place to showcase the high quality of our work against standards that are recognised in the industry and internationally. It also means that when our experts give evidence at court they know that they have the assurance of a third party (UKAS) that our process passes muster, producing valid results, and that their competence has already been demonstrated.”
Ross Donnelly, Assistant Operations Manager:
“This is another significant milestone demonstrating Keith Borer Consultants’ commitment to quality. Forensic Imagery joins our growing range of accredited services, providing our customers further assurance of the high standards of work we are known for. This achievement is testament to our hard-working Imagery Team, and I thank them for all their efforts during this process. We look forward to continuing to serve our customers with proven, high quality work to address their needs.”
Keith Borer Consultants is a UKAS accredited testing laboratory No. 4252. Our full scope of accreditation can be viewed on the UKAS website: https://www.ukas.com/download-schedule/4252/Testing/
